Meet the Team

The Performance Combine staff brings over 30+ years of training and sports performance experience to our athletes.  It is our goal as coaches and trainers to help maximize athletic potential through data-driven, expert training methods.  Meet the team below!

Bill Miller, CSCS

Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Bill is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist based out of the Chicagoland area.  Bill completed his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Trinity Christian University in Palos Heights, IL.  He also received in his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist License - one of the top credentials a strength professional can have. Bill was a 4 year started at Trinity Christian and also played 2 years of Independent Professional Baseball following his college career.  He works mostly with baseball, golf and javelin athletes on becoming more powerful for their sport. With a passion for measuring and developing explosive power in training, he has written two books - Swing Fast: A Guide To Developing Rotational Power and Throw Fast: A Guide To Developing Throwing Power.

Pete Miller, MBA

Director of Business Operations
Baseball/Softball Instructor

Pete comes with over 14 years of baseball coaching experience to the team.  He coached for over 5 years at Gordon Tech High School in Chicago and was one of the Co-Owners of the Dream Big Athletics Training Facility and the home to the Illinois Patriots Travel Baseball Program in Palatine, Illinois.  Pete completed his Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Wellness Management from Trinity International University where he played both baseball and football.  Pete was also drafted out of Trinity in 2010 in the 40th Round by the Detroit Tigers and played one season professionally in the Gulf Coast League.  Pete completed his Masters of Business Administration from North Park University in 2021 and manages the Performance Combine business operation, as well as assists with training camps and does private lessons as well.  Pete is also a part owner of Chicago-based wooden bat manufacturing company Keep Swinging Stix Wood Bat Co.
